
SERVICES PER GRADE LEVEL
Sophomore Year ($1000)
Two to three meetings per year to review academic history, discuss course selection and begin to identify colleges and majors that match students' interests. Prepare a resume and provide recommendations for activities, summer programs, and local community service opportunities. Discuss athletic recruitment, recommend ACT or SAT based on learning style, and make summer plans. Also available by phone and email to answer questions. ​
Junior Year ($2000)
Four or five meetings per year to prepare a college list of schools that are a good fit, select senior year courses, discuss teacher recommendations and prepare packages for teachers, plan possible summer enrichment programs, and assist with planning college visits. Students will also take a career assessment during their junior year, and together, we will review and discuss the results for major selection. Assist students with opening and completing Common Application account. At the end of junior year, we will have a family meeting to present a student's college list as well as a strategy for completing applications. Also available by phone and email to answer questions. ​

Essential Package Senior Year ($3500)
This package is specifically for students who want to do some work on their own and only need help applying to four to six schools. Six one-on-one meetings to complete applications, work on essays, and assist with counselor packets. Up to fours hours of essay review and feedback via email and Google Docs. Perfect for students with a college list just needing a little guidance and direction.​ Students may purchase additional hours if necessary.
Comprehensive Package Senior Year ($5500)
Up to twenty one-on-one meetings beginning the summer before senior year to finalize the college list, complete up to 14 applications, assist in the completion of Common Application, Coalition Application, UC Application, and CalState Apply, brainstorm, create and finalize all essays and short answer questions, prepare for interviews, and decide between Early Action and Early Decision. Discuss career exploration and majors based on YouScience results. Assist students with Continued Letter of Interest for students that are deferred or wait-listed. Compare acceptance packages. ​

Junior/ Senior Year Package ($6800)
This package combines junior year and the comprehensive senior year package for students that will not be recruited for sports and want to get started early. Up to twenty-four in person meetings. Includes access to all software and spreadsheets for college research and essay work.
Essay Workshops ($500) Three-hour workshop to brainstorm and help develop the Common App personal statement. Students learn how to highlight their unique characteristics so their essays enhance their overall application. Students receive personalized feedback on their ideas as well as their drafts. Each student will leave with a rough draft and step-by-step instructions on how to finalize their essay. No more than six students per session. Please inquire for dates and times.​

Hourly services are available for students in 8th and 9th grade to discuss class selection. Also available to assist with transfer applications for students in college. ($300/hr)​​​​​​​

Help students complete applications in order to maximize their chance of acceptance by showing why students are a good fit for universities.

CREATING A COLLEGE LIST
Matching the best universities for a student's unique interests and talents, which may include schools that they may not have considered and even know about.

ESSAY BRAINSTORMING & EDITING
Guide students to create essays that show universities how they will enrich their campus. Ensure that essays use the student's natural voice and share information that isn't provided elsewhere.

TRANSFER ADVICE
Assist students hourly with the transfer process, including completing applications, obtaining professor recommendations, sending transcripts, and writing essays.
